Our Pető vineyard lies between Tolcsva and Erdőbénye, characterised by volcanic soil and south-east exposure. On the highest parts, right at the edge of the forest, still the traditional head training system is used for our Furmint vine-stocks. The selected bunches are gently pressed and after fermentation the wine was aged in new 500-liter barrels.
Pleasant and harmonious, ready to drink wine. The flattering aromas of summer pears, flowers and white-fleshed peaches are nicely completed by oaky and mineral notes. The silky texture and tight acidity further emphasize the distinctive Furmint variety, that also comes along with the bitterness of grapefruit in the aftertaste. Refined and likeable wine with fruity aromas to be enjoyed immediately.
