A single vineyard premium Furmint from a sunny but balanced year, made from hand selected bunches grown on the volcanic soil of the Kővágó vineyard in Mád. After gently pressing the grapes, and the must was fermented in new 500-litre Zemplén oak barrels. The wine was aged for 9 months on fine lees in Trust barrels made from local oak. A Furmint with vibrant acidity and intense floral and orchard fruit aromas typical of the variety complemented by the subtle minerality reflecting the diverse soils. The complex acidity is beautifully balanced with some natural residual sugar and oaky, mineral notes leading to a persistent finish.
